The visionary game developer, who helped create the wildly popular franchise Call of Duty, has died in a traffic collision in Los Angeles, California aged 55.

The tragic news was confirmed by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, a game studio that he helped create.

The influential video game developer passed away following his automobile collided and was engulfed in flames on a motorway in LA on this past Sunday, according to.
