Incredible $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Represents a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

After a short availability earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned with an encore that lasts through early December. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the entire collection carries a value of more than thirteen hundred dollars. And there are three different bundles offered in this deal.

Primary Feature

The standout feature is definitely permanent access for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard mapping application which enables users to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, urban layouts, and, perhaps most importantly, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Entry Level

The cheapest bundle tier, starting at just one dollar, features merely four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This package suits existing CC3+ users, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-product collection for at least $15 is where things get more interesting through inclusion of permanent CC3+ access, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome is a 760-page suitable for novices and experts, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

Every volume of Cartographer's Annual are included here, plus numerous other resource and asset packs enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, underground complexes, cities, and continents from almost any perspective. You can even design character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle is so worth it, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license seeking permanent licensing. But it's obviously an even better deal for map-making newbies considering you even get the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though you can redeem the deal on any platform, the software is only usable with Windows systems.

Philanthropic Aspect

As with other Humble Bundles, part of every purchase goes to benefit a nonprofit. For this one, that's Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response.
