Loyal fans of the actress are demanding that a man who leaped a fence and touched the actress during the recent Wicked: For Good debut be arrested or deported from Singapore.

A widely shared clip depicts the individual from Australia shoving aside camera operators and lunging at Grande while the performers made its way down a event pathway surrounded by fans.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo quickly wrested the stunned performer away from Mr Wen, who was seen being removed of the premiere by guards.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram recently that he was "let go after being arrested", though legal records indicated that he was scheduled to be present on Friday morning. It is unknown if he was charged.

History of Event Invasions

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Controversial Figure", has crashed a concert or event. His Instagram profile contains recordings of him disrupting other star-studded functions, including breaching the performance area at Katy Perry's Sydney concert in earlier this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers concert in the same location last year.

"Steps should be implemented enforced against him as this is evidently a punishable act," stated an Instagram commenter, in a message to a video Mr Wen posted of his act.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" a different Instagram user remarked.

Followers Show Disapproval Over Ariana's Well-being

Many supporters blamed Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had revealed dealing with trauma-related anxiety after a devastating incident at the end of her May 2017 performance in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and wounding many.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" commented one more response on Instagram.

A number of attendees also criticised security officers at the gathering for not being sufficiently alert; while some requested online networks to block Mr Wen's content.

Reaction and Event Details

In videos shared widely, Grande seemed shocked when she was approached by the man. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen consoling her while Mr Wen was led out by security.

Grande has not issued a statement on the incident, and the remaining proceedings carried on uninterrupted.

Hundreds of attendees had congregated in a sea of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good regional premiere in a Singapore venue, including some who had waited for as long as eight hours before it started.

The film, to be released on November 21, is the follow-up of a two-part interpretation of the well-known stage musical Wicked, which focuses on the unlikely relationship between two contrasting sorceresses.

The musical itself is a derivative of the twentieth-century children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the character Glinda Glinda, was decked out in a light pink sequin dress at the gathering while Erivo, who acts as the wicked witch, wore a black tube gown embroidered with roses.

They were accompanied by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the highest-grossing motion picture of the previous year in the UK, and earned a dozen award recognitions, earning two for best costume and artistic direction.
